About Julie Oriet

Fascinated by big skies and wide open spaces, Julie Oriet explores the endless quilt of colors and shapes of the western landscape in her pastel and watercolor paintings.

 

Oriet was the winner of the 2002 Artists' Choice Award at the Buffalo Bill Art Show and Sale. Her paintings have appeared in national shows including the C. M. Russell Auction, Coors Western Art Show, "Cowgirl Up!" in Wickenburg, Arizona, and "Heart of the West" at the National Cowgirl Museum & Hall of Fame in Fort Worth, Texas. Oriet has been featured in Art Now Gallery Guide, Art of the West, Southwest Art, Western Art and Architecture, and Western Art Collector.

 

Oriet lives outside Cody, Wyoming.
