David Slonim

David Slonim grew up in New Jersey. While attending the Rhode island School of Design (BFA 1988)as an illustration major, he worked in animation and puppetry, including an internship with the Muppets in New York. As a freelance illustrator, he created images for clients such as The New York Times, UPS, and Veryfine Juices.In 1998 he launched his fine art career. David's oil paintings have been exhibited at the Northwest Rendezvous, Helena, MT; the CM Russell Auction, Great Falls, MT; the Rising Stars Exhibition, Desert Caballeros Western Museum, Wickenburg,AZ; and Great American Artists, Cincinnati, OH. His work hangs in the permanant collecion of the Richmond Museum of Art,Richmond, IN, and in the Minnetrista Cultural Center, Muncie, IN. David currently resides in Anderson, Indiana with his wife, Bonnie, their four children and a dog who matches the carpet.
